Neurotypical expectations and social norms are rampant in basic power exchange education. It is often one of the many reasons why folks with neurodivergent minds doubt the path they find themselves on. This is particularly challenging when one is shifting from a kink life where play spaces dictate rules to a 24/7 power exchange dynamic and YOU are the one making the rules. Where does one start? Kill 'Em With Kindness: Forced Praise Play
This is the class that bottoms are afraid of.
A lot of BDSM tends to focus on the darker edges of play that isn’t socially acceptable… but can you go the other direction? This class will show you that praise can be just as overwhelming. Doctor Bubbles and Kitkat Ann will cover how cognitive distortions and cognitive dissonance create that uncomfortable sensation one feels when they are faced with praise that goes against their self image. Afterwards, we will show how to use praise to not only create a cathartic play scene, but reinforce the positive aspects that we see in each other.
Scare Tactics: An Overview of Fear Play
Fear is one of the primal emotions that we have as human beings. It is a triggered response to danger, an instinct rooted so deep in our minds that it is with us every day of our lives. So as kinksters, what do we do with such a potent sensation?
Why, we play with it, of course!
Doctor Bubbles and Kitkat Ann will open with a discussion on why we are drawn to fear play despite its label as a form of edge play. Afterwards, they will break down fear triggers into its fundamental parts, demonstrating how to craft an effective fear play scene in a consensual, risk aware manner.
Dark Interrogation Play
As a branch of Consensual Non-Consent, Interrogation Play is more delicate than most think. Play too safe, and the top’s threats aren’t believable enough to motivate the bottom. Too dangerous runs a real risk of lasting harm. How does a top navigate the middle ground between terror and risk management? Doctor Bubbles will detail the principles of attacking the bottom’s human needs to obtain compliance, while keeping the play sustainable within realms of acceptable risk. We will also address how to build trust with your partner before and after the scene, and how to identify a good interrogation play partner.

Over my 30 years in service, I constantly ponder what being a slave means and how it affects our way of interacting with not just people who identify on the left side of the slash but the world at large.
For those of us for whom slavehood might be our primary identity, how can we express ourselves outside of a dynamic? How can we gain a greater understanding of how “slave brain” affects our day-to-day lives? What tools can we employ to continue our journeys and personal growth as slaves without Masters? One of the advantages to poly families is that there are multiple adults to help raise the children. However, non-legal parents/guardians don’t have rights concerning the children’s health care and can come across obstacles in other areas of the child’s life, too.

Transgender 201: Getting Down and Dirty with Sex and Play
We’re going to discuss the down and dirty details of sex! If you’ve ever wanted to fuck a Trans person, and never known what exactly to ask, this is the class for you! We’ll talk about STI safety, and how hormones may impact this in Trans folks. We’ll go over how sex with Trans bodies can be different than sex with cis bodies. What do you really need to know about bottom surgery to jump into bed with a Trans person?
When negotiating play with Trans people, what are the extra questions to ask? What questions should you ask in advance versus topics to research on your own before getting someone on the rack? How do hormones affect play? We’ll cover all this and more!

Seeing Myself in My Community: A Roundtable
Leather Reign and the newly organized DEI committee seek to share an overview and have a conversation about what the future holds as Leather Reign grows and becomes intentionally diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Leather Reign will honor diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as accessibility and belonging for conference staff and attendees. DEI helps cultivate an environment of creativity, perspective, and respect. Master Retro Bella is a Latina High Femme Leather Woman from Bakersfield, California. Her pronouns are She/Her/Hers. She is the first woman to earn the title of 2023 Southwest Master and currently serves as the first Latina to hold the title of 2024 International Master. Master Retro Bella is the President of the valley’s 1st girls of Leather chapter, San Joaquin Girls of Leather. She also created the extremely successful workshop series, ‘Women Educators in the Valley.’ She is passionate about Latinx/ne representation in M/s and Leather spaces. This passion fueled her to create the Latine Leather pride flag and become the founder of Latinos in Leather. Recognized as one of the Onyx pearls’ ‘Young 8,’ she carries the pearl name Amara Pearl. Master Retro Bella is also the Co-head of the Leather house, House Of Dark Shadows. Together with her slave boydrake, your 2024 International slave, they’ve taught for multiple groups and conferences on both coasts, in the Rocky Mountain region, and internationally
Sir Luke (He/Him) and His victor (he/him)
Sir Luke and His victor believe that relational alignment and empowerment begins with transformation of ourselves, intense and intricate shadow work, and radical self acceptance. As educators, their content centers edge forms of intentionally power imbalanced relationships, LGBTQIA+ politics, accessibility, neurodivergence and mental health, and community care. They have reached diverse groups of folks across the globe through in-person, online, and synchronous presentations, panel participation, and mentorship.
Their dynamic is flavored with notes of consensual nonconsent, an extra dash of depravity, and an entire load of defilement. Through manifestation and magick work, they engage in a sacred exchange of will and surrender, combining Leathersex and bloodlust, intentional structure and discipline, and devotional servitude and control. Living on the edge and peering into the depths of the beyond opened the doors to empowerment and shared personal truth.
Sir Luke (He/Him/His) is a Master, Sadist, Daddy, and modern day vampire. He is also a queer, trans, and Jewish revolutionary who advocates for accountability, conscious wielding of power, and authentic expression of self. As a second-generation Leatherman, he emulates a fusion of tradition and rebellion, continuing the rich inherited Leather history through his activist work in the community. He serves as a mentor, guide, and confidant to folks on either side of the slash, focusing on redefining success and creating a path to self actualization.
victor (he/him/his) is a devoted slave who has chosen a life of surrender beneath the sacred space under Master Luke’s boot. he has a wealth of expertise and skills across many disciplines: everything from folding a fitted sheet or fixing a clogged drain, to more elegant skills like dancing and creating fine art. victor finds peace in being a useful, adaptable servant, and he has had the opportunity to educate countless folks regarding the radicalized embrace of empowered slavery, neurodivergence, and edge living.

slavegirl j was raised in the Leather community by queer, kinky, POC parents which cultivated a deep connection to service. she has been on staff for MsC WORLDWIDE 2021 – 2023, BUTCH Voices 2021 and serves as the Regional Rep Director for MAsT International.
Together T/they serve as Northwest Master/slave 2016, International Master/slave 2017/2021, and are staff members for Northwest Leather Celebration & South Plains LeatherFest. When not presenting or working, T/they can be found settling into T/their new home in Colorado with T/their cat Spirit.

Master David is a leatherman, a sadist, a mentor, and an educator. He is the founder of the Bar Card Project. Along with His slave, brynn, he is the co-owner and producer of the FLAME Conference. He is a founding co-head of House of Dark Shadows. He is proud to be the 2019/2021 International Master.
Lady D (She/Her)
My name is Reverend Deborah Harrison but I am known as Lady D. I am a Lifestyle Domina and I have been in the lifestyle for over 35 years. I am an ordained minister, a spiritual life coach and Reiki practitioner. I am a certified master hypnotherapist and I truly believe in holistic healing of mind, body and spirit. For almost fourteen years I ran (People Exchanging Power), PEP Atlanta, a BDSM pansexual support and social group in Atlanta Georgia and in 2001, I created PEP4POC. I was Ms. Southern Coastal States Leather 2000-2012. I also am the founder and past President of the Onyx Pearls Southeast and I helped to re-launch OPSE in 2015, a women’s sorority focused on female camaraderie, empowerment, community awareness and service.
My personal commitment is to help make this community stronger and to continue Jill Carter’s philosophy of Each One, Teach One.
Mufasa Ali (He/Him)
Mufasa Ali has been a dedicated member of the leather community for more than 30 years! He is the founder of the Men of ONYX, ONYX National Council Chairman Emeritus, Patriarch of Mufasa’s Pride, Leather History Preservation Foundation founding Board Member, Mr World Leather 2006/2007 and the ONYX Leatherman 1997. Mufasa has received many awards including the Pantheon of Leather Marcus Hernandez Life Achievement Award, the Chuck Windemuth Mentorship Award at Mr. Chicago Leather Weekend, the Vi Johnson Community Leadership Award and the BlackBeat Leadership Award. He is the founder of the People of Color Caucus at IML & BlackBeat, the Leatherman and Leatherwoman of Color titles and a nationally known leather community speaker and educator/presenter on such topics as People of Color in Leather, Impact play, Leather Family, Leather Protocol, Spirituality & BDSM, Community Leadership and Diversity. Mufasa is a Husband, Daddy, Dad, Papa, Sir, Son and Brother to his leather family and honors them as his village of support.
Liza and Her slave Jody (She/ Her and She/Her)
Liza and her slave, Jody, (International Master and slave 2011 & 2021) have been living in a committed M/s relationship for 22 years. Liza, an avid horsewoman, came to power at Woodstock and has been kinky ever since. After leaving the military in 1980, Jody came out as a leatherdyke and slave in Los Angeles, founding Leather and Lace, an early group for leatherwomen.
Liza and Jody are past producers of the Ms. San Francisco Leather contest and have produced the Master/slave Retreat annually since 2011 (except 2021). Liza is the director of our LTHR (Long Term Hierarchical Relationships) group in Portland. They are both on staff of Northwest Leather Celebration, and Jody is on staff of South Plains Leatherfest and Leather Reign. They have judged, keynoted, and taught extensively in the leather community – mostly on nurturing and sustaining hierarchical relationships filled with heat, sex, deep intimacy and fun. For their efforts, they’ve received many individual awards, as well as MAsT International’s 2012 Presenter of the Year jointly.

Miz Tee and her primary partner sparkette have been playmates for over 15 years and have been officially committed to each other since 2019. Together they easily clear 50 years of kink experience.They both support their local communities and belong to kink-civic organizations. Both have been connected to multiple organizations that support diversity and growth. Miz Tee is the chairperson for CSR, ( consent and survivorship resources ) a new program presented by the PLA to bring information and support to persons who are dealing with CV and SA situations. MizTee is a joyful dominant sadist and sparkette is a situationally submissive sensualist. They both enjoy educating with love and laughter. Screams are an added bonus. They self describe as Leather and are in two Leather Families. They love skill sharing, learning from others, and teaching. They feel that humor helps lessons sink in better, and are best remembered that way.
Doc Bubbles and Kitkat Ann (He/Him and She/Her)
Doctor Bubbles and KitKat Ann met at Beyond Vanilla in 2018, and found a kindred spirit in each other. Since then, they have gone from playmates to best friends, and eventually established an M/s dynamic and romantic partnership together. Their dynamic is based on integrity, trust, respect, growth, balance, and improving the world around them. In 2021, they were named the Texas Power Exchange titleholders and went on to be named the 2022 International Power Exchange titleholders. As titleholders, they view it their duty to help promote positive and healthy power exchange dynamics.

Mara (they/them)
A long time ago at a Leather bar far far away, a precocious young Mara jumped on a subway to try to find the kind of men they lusted after on the well worn pages of their stolen copy of Drummer magazine.
Today Mara (they/them) identifies as an opportunistically omnivorous queer, gender expansive, Slave (with a capital S). They are the current SouthEast Person of Leather and was honored to serve the Leather community as International Ms Olympus Leather 1998.
Their passion for service and lifetime of being on the right side of the slash has guided their education efforts to design and present classes from and for s-types.
Mara’s guiding principles make them a fierce advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion efforts that help create spaces for Leather people who don’t fit outdated norms, and smashing through gatekeepers when necessary.
Wilde Irish (She/Her)
Heather Forrler founded Compass Legal Services, P.S., (Silverdale, WA) in 2014. She has been practicing law since 2002 and working in the legal industry since 1996. Heather provides counsel and representation in Family Law, Estate Planning, and Business Structures. She champions individual and family diversity.
Personally – Heather, aka WildeIrish (aka “Irish”), joined the Kink Community in 2001. She is a former member of the CSPC and an active member of Kitsap ACES since 2014. Kitsap ACES is a Non-Profit serving the Kink Community in Kitsap and beyond. She has served on the Board as Chairman (2016-2018) and Secretary (2015-2016, 2019 – current).
Ms. Forrler’s experience allows her to support members of the Kink community through difficult times and uncomfortable conversations. She enjoys helping members of the community plan and create security and peace of mind with her knowledge of the law and understanding of the reality of personal circumstances.
Will and CinnFull Delight (He/Him and She/Her)
Will (He/Him) a Sadist, Daddy, Dominate and the overall handler of his girl CinnFull. Has a drive to keep those around him safe within this community. You will often find him as the friendly face greeting new people at their munches. Or just being someone newbies can come to for questions. Grateful to have found his partner years ago as their journey together has grown and flourished to what it is today.
CinnFull, is known for being in pink and a little/middle, princess, Brat/SAM, pet, leathergirl, doll, and slave to only her Sir. You will often find her taking classes to further education in the lifestyle or being of service to her leather group LgOC, our local community group SPANK she helps run with her Sir. As of December 2023 we are the 2023 Pacific Coast Power Exchange titleholders , and together we are the Delights.
Hawk and Boy_Andrew (He/Him and They/He)
Hawk (He/Him), a Transgender Leather Man, and Andrew (They/He), a Transgender Leather boy, have been in a committed 24/7 pervasive authority exchange dynamic for 8 years. Hawk has been part of the LGBTQ+ community since the late 70’s, and today he is still out and proud as Queer. Since 2016, Hawk has been presenting about gender to the medical students at the University of Washington, at various Kink & Leather conferences, and locally at his church. Andrew has been in service to Hawk since first coming into the scene. Andrew came out as transgender in their late teens around a decade ago—their Queer and Leather identities are deeply intertwined. Andrew joined Hawk in presenting workshops in 2018, and has been presenting with their Sir ever since. Both Hawk and Andrew are active members of MAsT Greater Vancouver, and are involved in the Seattle scene.
Mister-Blue and Mrs. BlueFrost (He/Him and She/Her)
Mister-Blue, along with his slave and wife Mrs. BlueFrost, was the 2017 Northeast Master/slave titleholder, and the 2018 and 2021 International Master/slave titleholders. Mister-Blue is the Executive Producer of the Master/slave Conference and the Vice President of MTTA. Mrs. BlueFrost serves on the board of MTTA and serves as assistant producer of the Master/slave Conference (MsC) where she first embraced her slave identity and found her power in service. They are the Master and Lady of the House of Blue. They both speak and regularly teach the value of Authority Exchange relationships, as they strive to serve the Leather community with excellence.

Sir Tee and little kitsune live in a long-term (29 years) 24/7 Master/slave, CNC Dynamic. Sir Tee is a Butch, IBPOC, Leather Person (He/She). little kitsune is a Sansei Japanese Canadian slave (she/her). They are the Directors of MAsT: Greater Vancouver in Vancouver B.C., Canada.
Beginning their Dynamic prior to internet and without resources/community, they developed their M/s through dedication, trial, and error. This instilled a deep appreciation for education and community. Sharing their experiences and journey, they have presented across US/Canada (MsC, KinkFest, Leather Reign, Westcoast Bound, Wicked in the West, PiP, Service Oriented Conference etc.). They produced the 2020/21 Pacific Rim Power Exchange Conference, host educational intensives/fundraisers, and volunteer on committees.
In 2019 Sir Tee served as Head Judge (2018 little kitsune was judge) for the Western Canada Power Exchange Competition. In 2023 little kitsune was a judge at the NE Regional M/s contest at MsC.
MsDDom (She/Her)
MsDDom is active in the Atlanta community and lives in an M/s dynamic with her slave, Cream Dream. She serves various communities and organizations as a volunteer, advisor, facilitator, and board member. MsDDom organized Black Atlanta Munch, Black FemDoms-Atlanta, and is a founding Women in Leather Atlanta member. She is also a librarian, along with CreamDream, for the Carter/Johnson Library & Collections Atlanta Annex.

Inspired by the Divine intersection of Spiritual connection, deep authentic BDSM, and hedonistic sex, DominaKat—BDSM advocate/blogger since 2010—currently identifies as a right-leaning S&M primal switch and as an unowned property/lioness in M/s circles. In the NYC Community since 2017, she is the Co-Lead for NYC slave Meetings, sacred space for slave/property discussions, tailored to drive meaningful, POSITIVE growth, and the S&M.NYC Co-Founder, where she has nurtured in-depth discussions into the Art and Scenecrafting of S&M.
As a lifetime BIPOC Co-Conspirator she actively supports efforts to hold safe spaces. She is an Associate of ONYX Pearls NY-NE, was a Charter Member/Project Manager of the Leather Solidarity Collective/UPRISE! Conferences 2021-2023, and founded the Ally~Advocate~Warrior Program, dedicated to encouraging better allyship and advocacy in the Lifestyle.
